Semi - Analytical Solution of Modelled Typhoid Fever Disease

To analyze the optimal control of Typhoid fever virus a mathematical modeling was developed by Getachew Teshome Tilahun. We have approached Homotopy Perturbation Method to solve linear differential equation. An analytical solution Susceptible People(S), Infected People (I), Carrier (C), Recovered (R), and Bacteria ( is obtained compared with simulation results. A significant agreement produced when approximate results are numerical simulation. The treatment rate infectious disease (, Natural death (and typhoid-induced rates (α) discussed.

Introduction Typhoid or enteric fever is an ancient disease, which has afflicted mankind since human populations grew large enough to contaminate their water and food supplies. It is caused by Salmonella enterica serovar typhi (previously known as salmonella typhi), a pathogen specific only to humans, as well as by certain non-typhoid salmonella (NTS), particularly Paratyphoid strains A, B, C. ...

Numerous studies from various parts of India on the various aspects of typhoid fever have been published during the last 20 years. In going through the published Indian literature, one finds that not many cases have been reported before 1920. In the past, owing to lack of laboratory facilities in India, the diagnosis of enteric fever was mainly based on clinical evidence, but the only positive ...
